For decades, Historic Weston’s Applefest has been one of the region’s favorite fall traditions, celebrating the harvest season and all things apple in the heart of downtown Weston.

Enjoy Apple Alley, apple treats, an apple-themed parade, local crafters and artisans, live music, entertainment, exhibits, kids’ activities, apple butter demonstrations, and more. And yes—the best of all—apple dumplings!

Apple dumplings will be served directly at the Christian Church on Washington Street.

Applefest Kick Off:

Saturday, October 3, 2026

Parade begins at 10 AM with festivities lasting until 6 PM

Sunday, October 4, 2026

Festivities beginning at 11 AM until 5 PM

Free shuttle buses will run throughout the weekend from parking areas at the Weston High School, Weston Elementary School, and Snow Creek. Shuttles will drop off and pick up in downtown Weston on Thomas Street, making it easy to get to and from the festival.

There is no admission fee to attend.

Follow the red "Applefest Parking Ahead" and "Event Parking" signs as you come into town. They'll guide you to the lots below.

Free options

  • First Baptist Church: about 50 spaces

  • Snow Creek Ski Area: about 700 spaces, about 5.5 miles from town on Hwy 273. A free shuttle bus runs about every 15 minutes.

Paid options

  • South Main St. Tobacco Barn Lot: about 200 spaces, $20

  • Holy Trinity Catholic Church: about 40 spaces, $15

  • Weston Christian Church: about 40 spaces, $15 (estimated)

  • Weston Elementary / West Platte High School: about 700 spaces, $15

Good to know

  • The lot next to City Hall is reserved for Applefest workers.

  • Space counts are approximate. Our biggest lots (the school and Snow Creek) have the most room, so if one fills up, the next one over is ready for you.

  • Arrive early on Saturday. The parade and the Main Street crowds make the middle of the day the busiest.
